My Entry for TIO #38 - Along the River

Here is my entry for this week's TIO #38 challenge Along the Rver. It has been set by Janet from Rednoss Ramblings. She has a lovely blog, so do visit her. I shall also enter it at Tellens Place, where the theme is simply tag you're it... well that's just made for me, so I MUST enter eh???

I decided it would be a simple and soft tag, but could not think what stamps to use. Then I remembered my Kodomo set, bamboo lake - ok it's not a river but it fits!! I made this one over a few days, because my back is really bad from walking so oddly with my knee!!!! So I printed the lake stamp and embossed in clear ep. Victorian velvet and stormy sky were scribbled on the heat sheet and sprtized... I embellished with some chipped sapphire and dried marigold, but basically kept it simple... the spikey stamp is a judikins and the crane is another Kodomo set - many of you will know it is a great favourite of mine...  used it because the original image seemed a bit feeble!!! The strong stamp brought the foliage and mistiness together, I think!!
Thanks for looking

A lovely, quiet and spiritual addition to this week's Tag It On theme. The crane is soaring high. I love it and the colours are so well chosen. Thank you Frankie for dreaming with us on DragonsDream Tag It On.

Frankie, this is such a beautiful (and not simple) tag! I love the serene ambiance you get from viewing it - it is really quite lovely! I love the subtle hints of color - it is quite a magnificent piece to behold! I added your link to Mr. Linky so the rest of the DT could see. It's really awesome! Thanks for "tagging" along with us at Tellen's Place this week! :-)

I don't know how I missed this earlier, but it is a fantastic "painting", Frankie. I love the way you achieved the mistiness with such success. Such a gorgeous tag.

Hello, I clicked on Tellens Place to gather info because I would like to join in with your challenge, and got a link that said the link did not exist, and when I clicked Home on the link, I got a horrible porn site ... think something is a bit wrong :-) x
