WOYWW - Great Holiday Shame about the Fall!!!

For my story, please see the post here!! It's funny but not fun!!! So now you know...Sorry still no desk then, obviously, to show at The Stamping Ground but here is a little snippet of my snaps to whet your whistle!!!

Egypt was utterly AMAZING, especially the wondrous sky...

Who is this woman??? Woo tis me in a daft hat!!! It was so hot to wear, but I needed it ...

 Amazing carving...

And on the last morning, a journey into the sky, in a hot air balloon - always wanted to do this!!!!

Lifting high into air, above the Valley of the Kings... marvellous

Sunrise over the Nile, how beautiful and how quickly it comes up!!... If you did not read what has happened to me, please look now and PLEASE leave a comment, as I love hearing from you, as always... sorry, but I can't write any more just now
Love and light

Wonderful pictures - what an amazing adventure of an holiday. Lucky you! So very sorry to hear the saga - unbelievable. Sometimes life is a tough one. Glad your daughter is in safe hands and hoping that the right decisions about mum can be made....and take care of yourself and crafty hands too. Wishing you all health and wholeness. Thinking of you , Sarah.

Blimey, I didn't realise what had happened until I read your previous post. Your poor family, it must feel as if the world is against you all. Your daughter's accident sounded horrendous, I'm so glad to hear she's slowly on the mend. And your trip up had awful consequences too. Let's hope you mend quickly and the cast comes off soonest. As for your mum, I think doctors have forgotten that the kindest thing of all would not be not prolonging life at any cost. It's a tricky one. Meanwhile, keep as positive as you can..
Sending hugs, LLJ xx

Cor blimey - thank goodness you have a lovely holiday to reflect on to. Can't even begin to imagine how you must have felt when your mobile reception kicked back in. Time to pick up crafting books and explore the blogland for inspiration for when the hand is healed. Here is hoping for a speedy recovery for you and your daughter and whatever is best for your mum. Giant bear hug.

Just read the post below - what a week you have all had hope everything settles down soon and you are all soon feeling ok - will keep in touch send me a quick note (just "oi you" will be fine - I will understand and not take offence honest!) if you are feeling lonely - no crafting for six weeks I cant imagine that you will have to try and keep some notes somehow as you will no doubt have loads of inspiration during that time. On the plus side Eygpt looked fab - never been there myself.

Oh eccky thump, Frankie, that has got to be the most woeful catalogue of disasters ... so glad you enjoyed your birthday holiday though, the pics are fab, especially the hot air balloons over the Valley of the Kings ... absolutely gorgeous. Hope everyone is recovering now and your mother is feeling more comfortable. I can only wish that you have a good week ... I'm sure you will find something crafty to do over the coming weeks even if it is just reading craft books or watching crafting TV programmes. And don't worry, you won't be abandonned altogether, I'm sure. Elizabeth x #75

Oh Frankie, I am so jealous! I dream of travelling to EGYPT one day! Hope you are feeling better. I loved your dramatization of all the events. Hoping your mom and daughter are doing better as well. Your pics are so amazing! How wonderful that hot air balloon ride must have been. Cannot wait to see what projects Egypt has inspired when you are well and home. I just completed an ancient egyptian altered page this afternoon. Perfect day for your post.
